This university has an unfiltered Snapchat filled with nudity, drugs, and booze

This story contains sexually explicit material.

A salacious new college Snapchat account is celebrating the holy trinity of booze, bongs, and booty—and it’s a viral juggernaut. Anyone naïve enough to suppose that higher education involves studying or self-improvement can consider this a wake-up call.

A user with the handle “SunDevil_Nation,” Total Frat Move reports, takes lurid image submissions from students at Arizona State University and repackages them as photo montages that can last nearly half an hour. And with ASU’s reputation as a top party school to uphold, kids are going to dangerous lengths to prove they’re having the most fun ever.

After I viewed a 1,200-second Snapchat Story covering everything from cocaine to Adderall to post-sex creepshots, I opened another Story, this one punctuated by warnings that the account would “probably get shutdown [sic] by tomorrow.” The repeated message also pointed to a backup account. Between these announcements were the usual fare—for instance, students cutting lines of white powder on a table that featured ASU’s Sun Devil mascot.

Here, if you don’t feel too creepy about it, is a (heavily censored) glimpse into the collective millennial id.

Anyone know if they’re hiring underqualified adjunct professors down there?

Update Feb. 24, 6:08pm ET: We reached out to Snapchat about claims that the SunDevil_Nation account would soon be deleted. A company rep responded with this statement:

Accounts like the one you describe violate our Terms of Use and our Community Guidelines. When a Snapchatter violates the Community Guidelines it’s not uncommon for others to report it to us. Our policy also prohibits people who have had an account suspended or removed in the past from creating new Snapchat accounts or continuing to use Snapchat.

Like college itself, some social media stunts are too good to last.
