This is just a reminder to think twice before using your personal computer, aka where you store your porn, for any work-related activities. Because apparently some people still don’t think about what’s in their internet histories, and then we get things like porn playing on a mall billboard in Ningbo, China.
RT reports that an employee using a personal computer for a debugging test accidentally played his porn on the big screen after the test animation was over and his laptop began to autoplay whatever other videos he had. The film was caught by onlookers and uploaded to social media. Though the video is blurred, the film appears to be of a woman stripping.
Over Thanksgiving, rumors circulated that CNN had aired porn in Boston, though that was found to be a hoax. It’s possible this is a hoax too, though the existence of video, however blurry, makes it seem like it’s legit. Either way, it’s a cautionary tale to disable autoplay.
