Jimmy Kimmel’s “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets” has quickly become of the funniest and most popular segments in late night TV. But this clip of porn stars reading some of their extremely disturbing hate mail is no laughing matter.
Produced by WoodRocket.com, which typically makes high quality porn parodies, this SFW video acknowledges the reality of how sex workers are treated on the Internet. The hate mail these performers receive on a regular basis is insulting and shameful, as well as painfully racist and anti-Semitic. (Warning: The n-word shows up more than a few times.)
It’s hard to watch these women read these threatening messages. But it must be even harder to be on the receiving end.
