People were so hyped about a new season of Game of Thrones that traffic to Pornhub dipped during the premiere Sunday.
Traffic to the adult entertainment site was down 4.5 percent during the premiere, according to Pornhub Insights. “That’s a considerable change in visitors as Sunday night is one of the most popular times for people to visit Pornhub,” the insights post says.
Pornhub tracked traffic changes during season 6 of Game of Thrones as well. During the premiere in April 2016, Pornhub traffic dropped 4.1 percent. The fourth episode had a 4.9 percent drop, and the finale last June resulted in a whopping 5.2 percent drop from average Sunday night viewership.
The violence and dramatic tension in Sunday night’s episode didn’t deter users from returning to Pornhub in the hours following. Traffic was back to normal 90 minutes after “Dragonstone.”
