Android and iPhone users apparently have different kinks, and new data from xHamster is shedding light on just what those kinks are.
According to the xHamster’s data center, there are some pretty striking differences in the types of porn enjoyed by users of the competing mobile platforms. The site compiled the top 100 search terms for each major operating system and compared how they were ranked differently by Android and iOS users.
People who used either platform all agreed on one thing: Moms are the hottest demographic to watch. That search ranked No. 1 for both Android and iOS users.
Both groups also ranked “teen” and “anal” searches as the same (No. 10 and No. 32, respectively), but that’s just about where the similarities end.
Based on the data, iOS users have a distinctive fetish for BBW (big beautiful women), which came in at No. 2 in their searches (Comparatively, the term came in sixth place for Android users). For Android fans, “Japanese moms” snagged second place for most searched for term (which came in at No. 32 on the iOS search list). And while Mac users tend to be attracted to cuckold content, Arab themes, and Black porn, Android users are more tantalized by family-themes. Searches for “daddy daughter” (No. 26), “sister” (No. 12), and “granny” (No. 7) placed by far higher for Android users compared to iOS.
Searches for gay porn tended to rank pretty low for both groups (No. 40 on iOS but only No. 60 on Android), but still reflected a significant difference between the two group’s preferences.
Alex Hawkins, vice president of xHamster and head of the site’s data center, believes the differences reflect the demographic and cultural differences between iOS and Android users.
“Mac users tend to live in cities, and have more disposable income, and seem to have a broader grouping of global fantasies,” he wrote in a press release. “Android tends to be more popular among working-class users, and outranks Apple in rural states, like Kentucky and Tennessee.”
Regardless of the differences in preferences, Hawkins thinks we should focus on the things that bring us together.
“In our hyper-partisan world, we’re glad to see that no matter who you are, or where you come from, we can agree on importance of mom, teens and anal,” he wrote.
