Suburban real estate listing includes fully furnished sex dungeon

“50 shades of Maple Glen. One of a kind suburban home with a sexy twist,” starts off a Redfin real estate listing for a five-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom home in the Philadelphia suburbs, about 40 minutes north of the city. And boy, are they not kidding.

After listing luxury amenities such as three fireplaces, hardwood floors, and a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a marble backsplash, the listing goes on to describe the home’s fully finished walk-out basement that includes a gym and a fifth bedroom that is currently being used as a “private adult sexual oasis.”

The listing notes that it can also be converted back to a typical suburban basement.

Now, you may be wondering whether or not there are photos of the sex dungeon and I am pleased to report that indeed there are!

And yes, the house does come fully furnished, as you can see from additional photos in the listing.

You have to admit, it’s actually rather tastefully decorated for a sex dungeon, with animal hide throw rugs and furniture that looks like it could have come from Pottery Barn placed around the various bondage contraptions, whips, and chains.

To the surprise of no one, it didn’t take long for the story of the home to go viral in Philadelphia, and from there it spread around the internet like wildfire—lest anyone wonder why “sex dungeon” is now trending on Twitter.

Local Philadelphia reporter Brian Hickey only narrowly beat out digital media outlets like Slate and BuzzFeed to the story:

The current asking price of the home is a modest $750,000, and the listing notes that it currently serves as an Airbnb property (you can see the listing here) that rakes in $750 per night on weekdays and $2,000 per night on the weekends “for private parties or entertainment.”

In other words, BYO Lysol!
